But that can stop us
from making preparations for the inevitable.
For the first half of this programme,

at a British Legion care home on the south-west of England.

[後書き2：pyramid hologram videos]
ピラミッド型のガラス面に同じ映像を投影・反射させること
で立体視出来る状態にするものです。元々は製品の企画として
サイズに比例した投影を可能とし、グラスの要らない3Dとして
注目を集めています。スペースは嵩張るものの、未来の映像出
力端末やアンティークとしての魅力を備えた、次世代を感じさ
せる技術分野です。番組で取り扱っていた小型の自作物であれ
ば、小中学生の自由研究にもってこいでしょうね。
[後書き3：VR coaster]
ジェットコースターとVRを掛け合わせた企画が"VR coaster"
です。試作段階とはいえ良く出来ています。この流れならゲー
ムメーカーとのタイアップは間違いありません。国内で企画化
されるとしたら、ディズニーかUSJでしょうね。実体験は数年
以上先の話になるのでしょうが、十分に期待の持てる製品です。

[後書き4：SafeCity]
ストーカー事件被害者がネット上の地図に被害地域を登録し、
情報共有を計ることで類似するストーカー事件の発生を未然に
防ぐことを目的としたウェブサービスです。インドは女性の権
利・法整備が十分に整っておらず、長年の風習交えた固定観念
がストーカー事件の引き金となっています。7月はインドでスト
ーカー被害者が怒りで加害者を殴り倒す事件が発生しましたが、
笑い話ではなく、その地域状況の深刻さを物語るいい事例です。
現在のSafeCityの主なサービス稼働範囲はインド、ネパール、カ
メルーンの3か所となっていて、女性の権利確立が十分ではない
地域が目立ちます。利用者の増加数次第で、女性の権利が確立し
ている地域であっても有効に機能するサービスです。仮に日本で
広がれば、教育機関の多い地域に広く普及することでしょう。デ
ータの集計により、不審者の発生ポイント・時刻を絞り込むこと
で警察を動意づける材料になります。何れにせよ、これからの利
用者数次第ですね。
[少し関係の無い話1："LJ Rich"]
プレゼンターの1人である"LJ Rich"がアクティブな様相で話を
展開するシーンは私が見る限り初です。普段はslowdownした話
題を担当することの多い人物で、企画を愉しんでいる姿を見せ
ない魔女のような人物でイメージが固まっていました。冒頭の
スペンサーのビックリ声からスペンサーの企画かと思いきや、
予想外の流れです。"Silver Star"のジェットコースターシーン、
原音の"LJ Rich"の叫び声が秀逸です。企画関係者の説明部分を
コースターで行うシーンもツッコミ所としては十分です。原音
での視聴を強くおススメします。
[少し関係の無い話2：字幕とリスニング]
8月半ばを前後に字幕編集者が入れ替わっています。以前の
編集者であれば訂正部分を「`」で表現していましたが、現在
の編集者は「--」で訂正を入れています。以前に比べて訂正
の入る回数が極端に少なくなったことで、語順や単語表現の
異なったフレーズ・文章が明らかに増加しています。私の取
れる対策と言えば、リスニングを鍛えることぐらいでしょう。
リスニングで賄える状態となれば、音声簡易字幕に頼る必要
は有りません。リスニング力を徐々に鍛えていくしかありま
せんね。
